History

Council Bluffs Community Health Centers began in 1997 as a clinic located at Place 35 in the west end of Council Bluffs. In 1998, as the need for services grew, the clinic was relocated to the Omni Center as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). Since then a Dental clinic, X-ray services, a handicapped accessible van and translation services have been added to eliminate barriers to health care for the entire community.

Our Staff

Executive Directordirector
Cecelia Creighton, B.S., M.A., came to Council Bluffs Community Health Centers in April of 2007. Ms. Creighton has worked the past 15 years in the healthcare arena. Her previous experience working in the community health center environment greatly enhances the operations of Council Bluffs Community Health Center.
